Tarpon

Tarpon is one of the most prized trophies of any angler’s career. They are known worldwide for their size, brutal strength and ability to chuck a hook! Targeting these fish from shore is just totally different!
Gabon is one of the only destinations in the world where it is possible to target Tarpon from the shore on spinning gear. Ollende with its massive inlet can present opportunities weekly to hook into fish from 40kg to 120kg, but landing one takes a test of angler and equipment. Our biggest during the 2023 season was 95kg - that's over 200 lbs!
